Passions
Jenn is passionate about slow food and sustainability.
On weekends she shops at Farmers’ Markets and gets into her garden projects.

Interests
“I love sharing meals with friends, being an aunt and travelling with my husband”.

“To help keep me fit and active I stretch and practice Qigong daily. I also enjoy walking, bike riding and gardening. For the past 2 years I have been attending regular Step into Life outdoor fitness classes. In May a team of us entered their “Endure It” challenge around the Mornington Peninsula’s obstacle course for fun and I loved it.”

Voluntary roles
2013 – present : Parkhill Primary School’s kitchen garden program

From 2002 to 2009 : Stephanie Alexander’s Kitchen Garden Foundation at Collingwood College.

“I really enjoy being with the children as they discover and learn about new things in the veggie garden. It’s so delightful to see the pride and joy they gain from growing, cooking and eating food from the seeds they have saved, planted, tended and nurtured. The experience also teaches me a lot about community and how vital it is to mental health”.

2015 – present : Ashwood High Schools Permaculture Food Garden
